Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Identify new sales opportunities and actively pursue new business leads in the civil construction sector.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
    • Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitors offerings.
    • Monitor industry developments and identify potential areas for business growth.
  • Sales Support & Coordination:
    • Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotes to clients.
    • Coordinate with the technical and project management teams to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations.
    • Follow up on sales leads and close deals effectively.
  • Client Liaison & Negotiation:
    • Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals.
    • Handle client queries, complaints, and resolve issues related to product delivery or service.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress.
    • Prepare regular sales reports for management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales within the civil construction industry.
    • At least 6 years of experience in the UAE market.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of civil construction products, services, and market dynamics.
    • Knowledge of the construction sales cycle and tendering processes.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
