We are seeking a skilled Contract Manager (Construction - Landscape & Swimming pool Contracts)to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of contract management for construction projects, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and client expectations. You will play a critical role in negotiating contracts, managing risks, and fostering strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal requirements.
- Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and maintain all contract documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the companys interests.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Change Management: Manage and document contract changes, including scope adjustments, pricing changes, and extensions.
- Dispute Resolution: Address any contractual disputes promptly and effectively, working towards amicable resolutions.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on contract status, risks, and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in contract management within the construction industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., NEC, FIDIC), legal terminology, and risk management principles.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
