Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency, including robotics, conveyor systems, and other automated equipment.
  • Design and program control systems, including PLCs and SCADA systems, to manage and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement automation strategies to streamline operations.
  • Conduct process simulations and tests to validate automation solutions and ensure they meet production requirements.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of automation equipment to ensure consistent performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation systems, coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams as needed.
  • Lead projects related to the implementation and upgrade of automation systems, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and engineering, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in automation processes.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures for automation and process control.
  • Ensure that all automation systems and processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols related to automation equipment and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering and automation within the automobile manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation equipment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation technologies, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to automation, such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not required.
