Job Title: Interior Designer 

Position Overview: Our Client is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team and elevate the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our holiday homes. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing innovative design solutions that enhance the guest experience, align with our brand identity, and reflect the unique charm of each property.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptualize and develop interior design concepts that align with the brand vision and elevate the guest experience.
  2. Collaborate with the management team to understand project requirements, including budget, timeline, and guest preferences.
  3. Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate existing spaces and identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement.
  4. Create detailed design proposals, including mood boards, floor plans, and material samples, to communicate design concepts effectively.
  5. Select and source furniture, fixtures, lighting, fabrics, and accessories that meet quality standards, budget constraints, and aesthetic objectives.
  6. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and artisans to ensure timely and accurate execution of design plans.
  7. Oversee the installation and styling of furnishings and decor elements to achieve the desired look and feel.
  8. Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to maintain design integrity and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design practices to inform design decisions and enhance project outcomes.
  10. Provide design guidance and support to the operations team, including housekeeping and maintenance staff, to maintain the visual appeal and functionality of interior spaces.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in the hospitality or boutique accommodation sector.
  3. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  4. Strong creative vision and ability to translate concepts into cohesive design solutions.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and interact effectively with stakeholders.
  6. Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  7. Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices is a plus.
  9. Flexibility to travel to different properties and work outside regular business hours when necessary.
  10. Portfolio showcasing previous design projects and achievements.
