Logistic Officer

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in logistics, with a strong background in shipping or agro-related industries. Female candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and distribution.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control processes.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to logistics and shipping.
• Handle any issues or discrepancies related to shipments and resolve them promptly.
• Prepare and analyze logistics reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and integrated operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics or similar role.
• Experience in shipping or agro-related industries is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, shipping regulations, and supply chain management.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
