Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the network infrastructure, including setup, configuration, and maintenance to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance
  • Provide technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to maintain productivity
  • Oversee security protocols to protect company data, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and regular system updates
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment including computers, printers, servers, and other peripherals
  • Monitor and maintain backups and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity
  • Support the team by managing user accounts, access permissions, and software licensing
  • Assist in the setup and support of design software used within the architecture industry (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and troubleshoot any related issues
  • Keep systems updated and maintain inventory of IT assets to ensure efficient management and replacement planning
  • Train staff on basic IT functions and best practices, including network security and data privacy

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support and network management, ideally within the architecture or design industry
  • Strong knowledge of network management, troubleshooting, and hardware/software installation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS, and familiarity with design software support (AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus
  • Experience with IT security protocols and disaster recovery planning
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team
  • Strong communication skills to effectively support non-technical staff and handle diverse IT tasks
