About the job Cybersecurity Analyst
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls to protect company assets.
- Conduct risk assessments and penetration testing to evaluate system security.
- Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST, etc.).
- Develop and manage incident response plans for cybersecurity threats.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure applications, networks, and cloud environments.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and trends in the Fintech industry.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to prevent phishing and social engineering attacks.
- Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies for security audits and compliance reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in the Fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint security solutions.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of encryption, authentication protocols, and data protection techniques.
- Experience with SOC operations, threat intelligence, and incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex security issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple security incidents.
