Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven professional to support business development activities with Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and government-linked organizations in India's oil, gas, refining, petrochemical, and energy sectors.

The candidate will be responsible for developing relationships, identifying business opportunities, tracking tenders, coordinating proposals, and supporting sales of petroleum products and petrochemical feedstocks.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

* Identify new business opportunities within central and state-owned energy companies.

* Develop and maintain relationships with procurement, commercial, operations, and project teams.

* Schedule and conduct client meetings to understand requirements and upcoming opportunities.

* Support sales efforts for petroleum products, petrochemical feedstocks, and energy-related products.

PSU Liaison & Account Management

* Serve as a point of contact for assigned PSU accounts.

* Maintain regular engagement with key stakeholders.

* Coordinate commercial discussions and follow-up actions.

* Support contract execution and customer relationship management.

Tender & Opportunity Tracking

* Monitor PSU tender portals and procurement announcements.

* Identify relevant tenders and business opportunities.

* Coordinate documentation required for bids and registrations.

* Assist management in preparing commercial proposals and presentations.

Market Intelligence

* Gather market information on procurement plans, refinery operations, petrochemical demand, and industry developments.

* Track competitor activities and pricing trends.

* Maintain a database of key industry contacts and opportunities.

Internal Coordination

* Work closely with trading, operations, logistics, finance, and compliance teams.

* Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and tender requirements.

* Support smooth execution of commercial transactions.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business, or related field.

* MBA preferred but not mandatory.

* 5–12 years of experience in oil & gas, energy trading, petrochemicals, refinery operations, or industrial sales.

* Experience dealing with government organizations or PSUs is highly desirable.

Skills Required

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

* Understanding of PSU procurement processes.

* Tender management experience.

* Commercial negotiation skills.

* Knowledge of petroleum products and supply chains.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
