Job Title - Operations Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Operations Engineer to support, monitor, and optimize day-to-day operational systems and infrastructure that enable smooth business and technical operations. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, operational efficiency, and timely issue resolution while collaborating closely with engineering, DevOps, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support & System Monitoring

Monitor production systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure availability and performance.

Respond to operational incidents, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions.

Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Process Execution & Optimization

Execute routine operational tasks, system checks, and maintenance activities.

Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows, automation, and efficiency.

Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Collaboration & Issue Management

Work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support releases and deployments.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues affecting business processes.

Communicate system status, risks, and incident updates clearly.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate operational documentation, runbooks, and procedures.

Ensure operational activities comply with internal policies and quality standards.

Support audits and compliance requirements where applicable.

Performance & Reliability Support

Track system performance metrics and operational KPIs.

Assist in capacity planning and system optimization efforts.

Support high-availability and disaster recovery processes.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

3–6 years of experience in operations, systems engineering, or technical support roles.

Strong understanding of system operations, monitoring, and incident management.

Familiarity with operating systems, networking basics, and infrastructure concepts.

Experience working with operational tools, ticketing systems, and monitoring platforms.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Effective communication and coordination skills.
