About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused and technically aware Service Advisor to act as the primary point of contact between customers and the workshop team. The role involves understanding customer concerns, coordinating service and repair activities, ensuring excellent communication throughout the service process, and delivering a high-quality customer experience that drives satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Service Intake
Greet customers professionally and understand their vehicle service or repair requirements.
Conduct initial vehicle inspection and accurately record customer concerns.
Explain service recommendations, timelines, and estimated costs clearly.
Workshop Coordination
Prepare job cards and assign work to technicians based on expertise and workload.
Coordinate with the workshop to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
Monitor job progress and keep customers updated on status and delays.
Costing & Approvals
Provide accurate cost estimates and obtain customer approvals before starting work.
Recommend additional services when necessary to improve vehicle performance or safety.
Ensure all work performed is properly documented and invoiced.
Customer Experience & Retention
Ensure smooth vehicle handover and explain completed work in simple terms.
Address customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat service visits and loyalty.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
Follow company policies, warranty procedures, and manufacturer standards.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in an automotive service advisor or workshop coordination role.
Experience working with dealership systems or service management software is an advantage.
