Quantity Surveyor

Job Title : Quantity Surveyor ( Buildings )

Location : Dubai – On Site

Job Type : Full-Time ( 6 Days / Week ) 

Role and Responsibilities :

• To calculate accurately the quantities of the works being carried out on site by the Contractor or Subcontractor . Accurate calculation of quantities and quality control of work performed by a contractor or subcontractor on site.

• To check comprehensively the Monthly Payment Application and to verify the quantities , rates , the percentage of completion and the final amount .

• To compare the quantities being carried out on site with the quantities mentioned in the BOQ .

• To calculate the quantities of all materials being delivered to the site and to ensure the relevant compliance to the specification including the civil , finishing and MEP materials and to ensure the materials are fully utilized for the works and the relevant storage is established in an organized manner . Oversee the delivery, use, storage, and quality of materials. Calculate the quantity of all materials delivered to the site and ensure they meet specifications, including construction, finishing, and engineering materials, as well as ensure the full utilization of materials for the work and organize their proper storage in an orderly manner. 

• To check and record the machinery being utilized on site and the relevant working hours along with quantities .

• To verify the number of manpower working on site including the skilled and non-skilled laborers , masons , carpenters , steel fitters , electricians , plumbers .. etc .

• To verify that the works being completed on monthly basis is complying with works included in the Monthly Invoice submitted by the Contractor .

• To ensure that all construction resources are recorded , monitored , checked and maintained properly without shifting them outside the site .

• Preparing the cost estimate for the ongoing projects .

• Any change to the delivered materials specification that could be observed is to be reported .

• All matters related to the quantity surveying works are to be handled adequately for the success of the projects .

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related Engineering Field .

Experience : 15 Years in Quantity Surveying Works .
