About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. The role involves managing site activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day project activities from commencement through completion.
• Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely achievement of key milestones.
• Assist in developing work plans, construction methodologies, and project schedules.

Site Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise site activities and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Resolve technical and operational issues encountered during project execution.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable construction standards.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and quality control teams.
• Monitor implementation of QA/QC procedures and corrective actions.
• Verify that construction activities meet regulatory and client requirements.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project progress against approved schedules and budgets.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor project risks, identify delays, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, site records, and technical reports.

Procurement & Resource Management

• Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Monitor inventory and ensure timely availability of construction materials.
• Support cost control initiatives and optimize resource utilization.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, and internal departments.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical updates.
• Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders.
• Ensure client expectations and project objectives are achieved.

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and local safety regulations.
• Promote a strong safety culture across project sites.
• Participate in safety inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Report incidents, hazards, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in project engineering within construction, infrastructure, or real estate development projects.
• Strong knowledge of project execution, construction methodologies, and engineering standards.
• Experience working on UAE construction projects is highly preferred.
