The Opportunity

As an Intermediate or Senior Accountant, you will play an important part in enabling our client's next phase of growth. You will be an integral part of the broader team and be mentored by Partners to help you grow into leadership positions. This organisation is committed to providing learning and development opportunities for all their team, ensuring that you would have the resources and training to support you on this journey.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
• Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
• Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
• Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
• Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
• Help provide exceptional service to clients

About You

• 3+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
• Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
• Expertise in accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero and QuickBooks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Committed to providing exceptional service to clients
• Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
