QUALITY REVIEW MANAGER

As Quality Review Manager, you'll be our dedicated quality review engine, meticulously examining client deliverables to free up partner time while ensuring our professional work consistently meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Quality Assurance

  • Perform detailed reviews of financial statements, tax returns and other client deliverables
  • Apply your expert knowledge of both general purpose and special purpose financial reporting frameworks
  • Identify errors, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities in work prepared by other team members
  • Ensure all outputs are risk-free and comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Workflow Efficiency

  • Support service teams in meeting deadlines through efficient, thorough reviews
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback within Business Fitness Active Workpaper and Active Ledger systems
  • Maintain high review efficiency while never compromising on quality
  • Identify process improvements to enhance overall workflow

Team Development

  • Provide technical guidance that helps develop the capabilities of the broader team
  • Identify recurring issues and develop targeted solutions to address knowledge gaps
  • Support partners by handling routine reviews, allowing them to focus on strategic client matters

Requirements

  • Full member of CAANZ, CPAA, or equivalent professional accounting organization
  • Minimum 8 years of professional services experience
  • Exceptional technical knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax laws
  • Demonstrated experience with Business Fitness Active Workpaper and Active Ledger
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to identify errors others might miss
  • High review efficiency with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Expert understanding of both general purpose and special purpose financial reporting frameworks
  • Mandarin/Chinese language skills required

  • Hybrid working model with 1 day per week work-from-home after probation period
