THE ROLE
As a Senior Accountant, you'll provide organizational and financial management expertise to help our clients achieve their growth targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards and exceeding expectations.
YOUR IMPACT
Client Services
- Build effective long-term relationships with existing clients
- Provide proactive service and ongoing accounting advice
- Manage your own client portfolio
- Identify value-added services and growth opportunities
- Introduce clients to additional services including Personal Wealth Advisory
Accounting Excellence
- Deliver tailored Business Advisory services to diverse business clients
- Provide compliance, accounting, and tax return preparation for all taxpayer types
- Ensure adherence to all processes including Xero implementation
- Identify process improvement opportunities
Productivity & Efficiency
- Achieve individual productivity targets
- Manage deadlines effectively
- Present a professional image of the firm
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
Team Development
- Support team members through systems training
- Mentor junior team members in their career development
- Delegate effectively and supervise work completion
- Maintain current industry knowledge
FLEXIBLE WORKING
- Work from home one day per week after probation period
- Modern office in an excellent Parkville location

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3-7 years public practice experience
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting and taxation
- Experience with diverse client portfolios
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive approach to client service
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to continuous improvement
