Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager/ Assistant Vice President - Treasury manages the proprietary trading portfolio of CALT, liquidity, and funding strategies. The role involves formulating the trading strategy based on macro-economic analysis, execution of the trading strategy, liquidity management, and collaboration with senior leadership, requiring expertise in financial markets, banking, and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, the role will involve providing leadership and guidance to the dealing team
Job Responsibilies:
- Trading on the Fixed Income market to maximize trading profits.
- Provide insights and participate in forming the house Macro-economic & market forecast.
- Participate & contribute in the weekly Macro-economic/markets meeting with the Senior Leadership team.
- Manage the Company Cashflow requirements by obtaining funding from market participants and clients.
- Manage a portfolio of client relationships that are critical to dealing in Fixed Income.
- Contribute to making CALT trading decisions at the weekly meeting and record the minutes of these meetings.
- Respond to Internal Audit and Central Bank Audit requirements and concerns.
- Carry out UAT as necessary.
- Any other tasks that are assigned by the management within the company or CAL group.

Qualifications & Work Experience Required:
One of the following:
- Certificate in Treasury and Foreign Exchange Operations (CBSL)
- ACI Dealing Certificate (ACI)
- Diploma in Treasury & Risk Management (IBSL)
- A related finance degree.
Experience
- Five years of experience in a Treasury Front Office of a Primary Dealer/ Bank/ Money Broker
or
- Three years of experience in a Treasury Front Office of a Primary Dealer/ Bank and Three years of experience in Middle Office/Back Office of a Primary Dealer/ Bank
or
- Eight years of experience in a Corporate Treasury/Investment Bank/Fund Management Company, of which at least 3 years is as a manager or above.
