Assistant Manager/ Assistant Vice President - Investment Banking

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical professional to join our Investment Banking team as an Assistant Manager/ Assistant Vice President. This role is ideal for individuals with strong transaction experience, excellent financial acumen, and a passion for capital markets.

Key responsibilities

• Support and lead key workstreams in IPOs, M&A, rights issues, private placements, and follow-on offerings.
• Build and maintain advanced financial models for valuations and transaction analysis.
• Prepare high-quality pitch books, IMs, proposals, and client presentations.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, research, sales, and operations to ensure smooth execution.
• Participate in client discussions and help manage day-to-day client engagement.
• Contribute to business development, including idea generation and opportunity tracking

Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications (CFA, CIMA, ACCA) are an added advantage.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Equity Research, or similar roles with exposure to live transactions.
• Strong skills in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and Excel/PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
