We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Systems Engineer to join our Tech team. This entry-level role is ideal for a proactive tech graduate eager to build hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, and daily operational workflows.

You will be responsible for keeping our core office and server environments running smoothly, executing daily operational check routines (including financial system start-of-day and end-of-day procedures), and providing direct technical support to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Daily Operational Execution (BOD/EOD): Reliably execute Beginning-of-Day (BOD) and End-of-Day (EOD) operational checklists and batch processes for trading systems to ensure the platform is ready for active business hours.
  • Technical Support (L1): Serve as the first point of contact for internal staff, troubleshooting day-to-day hardware, software, OS, and office connectivity issues in a prompt, helpful manner.
  • System & Environment Monitoring: Assist in monitoring basic health metrics across Windows and Linux server environments, virtual machines, and routine data backups to ensure core services remain available.
  • Basic Administration: Assist with fundamental administrative tasks including routine system patching, endpoint security (antivirus, software updates), basic Active Directory account setups, and Office 365 user support.
  • Network & Hardware Maintenance: Help maintain local office connectivity and track IT asset inventory.
  • Documentation: Keep daily task logs, routine operational guides, IP listings, and asset tracking records accurately updated.

Candidate Profile: 

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience: Internship/entry-level experience in IT support or systems administration.
  • Foundational Tech Knowledge: Basic understanding of Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) and Windows operating systems.
  • Networking Basics: Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, basic local networks).
  • Process & Discipline: Strong attention to detail with the ability to strictly follow operational procedures, especially critical time-bound tasks (BOD/EOD cycles).
  • Problem-Solving & Attitude: Eager to learn, quick to adapt, and calm under pressure during time-sensitive operational checks.
  • Bonus Assets: Any prior exposure to Active Directory, Office 365, basic virtual machines, or basic scripting/command-line tools is a plus.
