Manager Aircraft Maintenance

Cakum Global is recruiting a Manager – Aircraft Maintenance for our aviation client based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

Role Overview:
This is a senior aviation leadership role responsible for overseeing all aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, reliability, and operational performance across the fleet.

Key Highlights

• Lead and manage all aircraft maintenance activities across the operation
• Ensure compliance with CASA PNG regulations, company procedures, and safety standards
• Oversee maintenance planning, aircraft availability, and operational efficiency
• Manage engineering teams, training, recruitment, and performance development
• Coordinate closely with CAMG, Flight Operations, MRO, and Technical Services teams
• Drive continuous improvement, reliability, and maintenance performance initiatives
• Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and operational KPIs

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related field
• Valid LAME Licence or equivalent certification
• Minimum 10 years' aircraft maintenance experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
• Strong experience with turbo prop aircraft operations
• Deep understanding of aviation regulations, safety systems, and maintenance operations
• Strong leadership, communication, and operational management capability
• Experience working in dynamic or remote aviation environments highly regarded
