Senior Planner

Cakum Global is recruiting a Senior Planner for our aviation client based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

Role Overview:
This role is responsible for the short- and long-term maintenance planning of the PNG Air fleet, ensuring aircraft maintenance activities, work packs, and critical parts are planned and delivered efficiently to support continuing airworthiness and operational reliability.

Key Highlights

• Plan and coordinate scheduled aircraft maintenance activities for the fleet
• Forecast and requisition critical aircraft parts, rotables, and consumables
• Prepare and deliver maintenance work packs within required KPI timelines
• Support technical records processing and maintenance planning activities
• Coordinate ATR and Dash-8 maintenance checks and planning schedules
• Monitor maintenance deferrals, forecasting, and utilization reporting
• Work closely with CAMG, MRO, and technical operations teams

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 5 years' experience in aviation maintenance planning or technical records
• Previous supervisory experience highly regarded
• Experience with IAS, CAMP, or RAAS systems preferred
• Strong understanding of continuing airworthiness and aviation regulations
• Knowledge of CAR Parts 91, 43, 119, 121, and 125
• Strong planning, coordination, and organizational capability
• Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced airline environment
