About the job Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer - SATCOM Project
Our client is an innovative, Brisbane based Defense technology company seeking an exceptional Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer to support a Naval communications upgrade project.

The project is an interesting, high-tech acquisition activitiy to upgrade Military satellite communications hat will draw upon your systems engineering knowledge and ability to plan and lead Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
Key responsibilities:
The role will be responsible for ensuring that systems, software, and hardware meet design specifications, functional requirements, and regulatory standards. This role involves defining V&V strategies, executing test plans, analyzsng results, and working closely with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and compliance.
- Implement verification and validation plans for systems.
- Define test procedures, and acceptance criteria to ensure system integrity.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing to verify compliance with design requirements.
- Analyse test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain traceability
between requirements, test cases, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Prepare and present test reports, validation documentation, and technical findings to stakeholders.
- Delivering V&V activities on time, within budget and to the highest quality expected. Provide regular reports, including management briefings when required.
- Providing leadership and coordination of assigned team members.
- Liaising with customers, end-users, subcontractors and suppliers.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering qualifications in Electrical/Electronics or a relevant degree in Engineering, preferably majoring in Systems, Radio Frequency, Mechatronics, Electronics, Communications, or Aerospace.
- Previous experience conducting V&V activities in a Defence project environment.
- Proven experience in delivering system engineering projects in a Defence environment.
- Knowledge and experience applying IPS (Integrated Product Support) methodologies.
- A demonstrated, structured approach to delivering projects.
- Australian Citizenship, with eligibility to hold an Australian NV1 security clearance.

An initial 6-12 month contract, that has the possibility of extension either on this program or other innovative projects for our client, who is on a solid growth trajectory.
