Pilot (Aircraft Captain – ATR)

Cakum Global is recruiting experienced ATR72 Aircraft Captains for a regional airline operation based in Papua New Guinea.

Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing regional airline operating modern ATR72 aircraft across one of the world's most unique and operationally demanding flying environments. We are seeking experienced airline pilots with strong technical capability, professionalism, and a safety-first mindset.

Key Highlights

• Operate ATR72 aircraft across domestic and regional routes in PNG
• Maintain the highest standards of flight safety, compliance, and operational discipline
• Work within a multi-crew airline environment in line with company SOPs and regulatory requirements
• Support safe and efficient operations in remote and challenging environments
• FIFO roster (6 weeks on / 6 weeks off)
• Long-term contract opportunities available

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Current or previous ATR72 command experience strongly preferred
• Modern turboprop airline experience highly regarded, including:
  • ATR
  • Dash 8 / Q400
  • EMB-120 or similar regional aircraft
• Strong multi-crew airline operations background
• ICAO English proficiency required
• Strong CRM, operational discipline, and safety culture
• Resilient, adaptable, and capable of operating in developing environments

Indicative Requirements

Captains

• Approx. 1,500+ hours ATR type experience preferred
• Previous command experience in airline / Part 121 operations

Instructor / Examiner Pilots

• ATR training, checking, or examiner experience highly regarded
