Responsibilities
- Assists the MD in expanding the business and implementing strategic sourcing plans in Southeast Asia.
- Product support and development, along with gathering design concepts for clients.
- Analysing consumer data, preferences, and market conditions to suggest and create a variety of merchandise.
- Prepare presentations on current products as well as new collections or developments working alongside the sales team
- All kinds of merchandising issues with factories and customers.
- Support the business team by managing licensees for goods sales:
- Preparing quotations
- Responsible for overseeing the production process to ensure timely delivery
- Delivery Tracking
- Help identify and evaluate local and international suppliers for all products.
- Relationship management between buyers and suppliers and negotiation of contracts
- Achieving revenue targets for goods and services
- Prepare report
- Collaborate closely with the Business Team to identify business opportunities
- Coordinate with the Creative Team to develop concepts and monitor the creative process to ensure the quality and timely delivery of merchandise
- Ensure the provision of high-quality service by setting and upholding organizational standards.
- Maintain budgetary control over all expenditures
Requirement
- Min. degree holder with at least 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement (supply chain management in the garment industry)
- Ensure the delivery of superior service by establishing and maintaining organizational benchmarks.
- Excel in problem-solving, demonstrates proactivity, possesses self-motivation, is highly organized, operates efficiently, and can perform well under pressure.
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and excel as a collaborative team member.
- Exceptional proficiency in both verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin.
- Possessing global or, at a minimum, regional experience that demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the complexities, cultural nuances, contractual frameworks, local practices, and regulatory environment of the Asian market.
