Requirements

  • Review, analyse, and propose risk mitigation alternatives on the Company's various types of contracts, such as non-disclosure agreements, tenders, and professional service agreements.
  • Act as the Management Representative for the Companys ISO 9001 certification.
  • Responsible for ensuring processes and documentations are following MAS Payment Services Act Regulations.
  • To review, draft and negotiate terms and conditions of various types of contracts with external parties and partners of the Company
  • Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external counsel in relation to external legal advice and its interpretation and management of legal costs.
  • Participate in negotiations with relevant counter parties as well as external legal counsels
  • Review Companys business activities and conduct regular compliance reviews
  • Ensure that the relevant policies and SOPs relating to the Company's Major Payment Institution Licence are up-to-date and complied with.
  • Maintain Board of Directors profile, coordination of Board and sub-committees meeting schedules and recording of Board meeting minutes.
  • Participate in mitigation processes in line with overall standard operating procedures of the organisation
  • Assist in providing internal stakeholders with information regarding department processes, procedures and contract development as requested, including development and presentation of training materials
  • Responsible for supporting Companys Personal Data Protection Management Programme in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act, including the maintenance of the Company's Data Protection Policies and Procedures.
  • Other compliance work that may be assigned from time to time by Head of Finance & Compliance and CEO.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Law or Business Management, or related discipline. Professional Certificate in Legal Studies, or relevant field (for those without relevant a Law Degree).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal contract management and administration.
  • Experience managing Contracts, PDPA, and Regulatory Compliances is mandatory to be successful in this role.
  • Candidates with knowledge on the Payment Services Act is an added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills are mandatory to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent organization skills
