Responsibilities:
- Provide quality and professional music therapy services in inpatient and day care settings, including group and individual sessions.
- Execute therapy process with patients, including referral, assessment, goal setting, evaluation, termination/discharge.
- Provide clear documentation of patient goals, progress, and summaries.
- Set relevant goals and objectives with patients and their family members.
- Demonstrate knowledge and use of various music therapy methods and techniques.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings and family meetings as required.
- Initiate new treatment programmes and initiatives to improve patient care.
- Serve as a clinical resource and provide educational opportunities to interdisciplinary team as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy (or equivalent)
- Registered with the Association for Music Therapy Singapore
- Prior relevant experience is an advantage
- Bilingual and preferably able to communicate in local dialects
- Passion to serve
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of and proficiency with wide range of music genre
- Proficiency with keyboard, guitar, percussion and vocal ability
