As the Project Engineering Manager, you will provide oversight and guidance to the entire project of work, whilst acting as the primary engagement contact with the client.
Your duties may include but not limited to
- Lead, mentor and manage the project team.
- Act as the client engagement POC.
- Plan, execute, and deliver IT engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Develop project roadmaps, schedules, and risk management plans.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure desired solutions meet requirements.
- Manage stakeholder communication and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security, and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Drive continuous improvement and process efficiency in project execution.
About you;
- Minimum NV1 Security Clearance and ITAR compliant.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline (Electronics / Electrical / Software or Computer Systems).
- 5+ years experience in a Defence project, ideally within engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of IT and C2 systems, networks, and cybersecurity.
- Interested in learning new technologies and applying innovative approaches.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to multi-task and adapt to client needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships and manage conflict.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of resolving complex issues.
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a broader team.
