We are seeking an experienced and passionate Defence ICT Service Support Manager to oversee complex and technical C2 projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business objectives. You will work closely with the Project Manager, the Project Engineering Manager and the Security Lead to ensure systems meet C2 compliance and operational requirements to enable continuity of systems and service.

Your duties may include but not limited to:
- Manage the entire C2 project master schedule including budget and cost, resource levelling, critical milestones, contract and vendor management.
- Monitor performance metrics, implement automation, and drive efficiency improvements.
- Work closely with the Project / Program Manager, Project Engineering Manager, Support Manager and the C4i Solutions PMO to ensure project milestones are being met and that all risks and schedule slips are identified and reported.
- Identify and communicate potential project delays, critical paths, and schedule risks directly to the Project / Program Manager and the Project Engineering Manager.
- Develop reports that inform the Project / Program Manager and Project Engineering Manager on the schedule status, performance metrics, costs, and potential risks.
- Attend key project review boards, meetings and project change workshops as required.
- Oversee ICT support functions, ensuring ITIL best practices, SLAs, and continuous service improvement.
- Manage and mentor support teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure adequate coverage for IT operations.
- Ensure ICT services align with cybersecurity policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Your personal attributes:
- An Australian Citizen, with an NV1 AGSVA clearance.
- ITAR compliant with no restrictions.
- Exposure to large complex Defence projects.
- Customer focussed, with a values-based approach.
- Able to multi-task and able to prioritise.
- Able to show initiative and adaptability.
- Able to build and maintain relationships.
- Able to manage conflict.
- A self-starter who takes the initiative with excellent problem-solving skills.
- A high level of communication both written and verbal.
- An ability to work either individually or as part of a broader team.
Your Experience:
- Industry experience in line with your domain specialisation.
- Ex Defence force highly regarded with backgrounds in System Administration, Network Engineering, Systems Support preferred. Ex RAAF CISCON, CISTECH, Engineering highly regarded.
- Operational knowledge of ITIL, ISM, DSPF.
