Application Administrator (hybride)

We're on the lookout for a skilled Application Administrator to become a key player in our client's IT team. They are dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of their application landscape, contributing significantly to their business operations. As part of this dedicated team, you'll be responsible for maintaining, managing, and enhancing application functionality across the organization. This role is not just about keeping systems running; it's about optimizing processes and supporting global users to enhance their operational efficiency.

About the Role:

In your role, you'll take charge of the day-to-day management of various business applications, focusing on supporting users and resolving technical issues. Your mission will be to ensure operational continuity, making application management as seamless as possible, and ensuring that all functional needs are met promptly.

Your Impact:

• Operational Excellence: Maintain and enhance the functionality of business applications, ensuring reliability and user satisfaction.
• Technical Support: Provide both first and second-line support, handling technical issues and maintaining high availability of all applications. Manage the Cis8 ticket system, keeping track of tickets, projects, reporting, and data cleansing.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the IT department and business units, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest improvements to support processes and application functionalities. Experience with dashboard migration to Azure is highly valued.
• Project Collaboration: Participate in IT projects, contributing your expertise to optimize application use and integration.
• Innovative Problem-Solving: Identify potential problems and collaborate with the team to develop sustainable solutions. Experience with SQL Manage Instance is required.

We're Looking For:

• Experienced Applications Administrator: You should have a solid background in application management, with a proven track record of maintaining and improving IT applications, including at least 2 years of experience.
• Problem Solver: Your ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues is paramount.
• Effective Communicator: You possess excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: You thrive in a team environment, contributing to and building on the collective knowledge and success of the team.
• Technically Proficient: Your resume should include experience with Microsoft Office, Windows, ITSM applications, ITIL principles, DTAP methodology. Additional skills in managing SQL instances and migrating dashboards to Azure are particularly welcome.
• Strategic Thinker: You are skilled at planning and organizing, ensuring that all aspects of application management are aligned with the organization's goals. You should be versatile and capable of working partially independently.

Education:

• Minimum of a MBO level 4/HBO degree in a relevant field.
