About the job Sr Product Manager Lead - Payments & Platform
We are looking for a Senior Lead Product Manager to lead our Payments & Platform tribe. This is a leadership role where you will own the product strategy for our payment products (EDC, QRIS, digital transfers, bill payments).
You will manage a team of 2-3 Product Managers, set the strategic direction for the tribe, and be accountable for delivery across multiple product lines. You will also be a player-coach — leading critical initiatives yourself while developing your team.
This role reports directly to the Head of Product and is critical to our geographic expansion and product scaling goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Payments & Platform Strategy: Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for all payment products across Indonesia and Philippines
- Cross-Tribe Alignment: Ensure Payments & Platform roadmap aligns with other tribes
- Manage PM Team: Lead, coach, and develop 3-4 Product Managers including PMs for payments, risk, and regional expansion
- Capability Building: Build a high performing team through elevating product capabilities across the team through mentorship and training
- Performance Management: Set goals, provide feedback, and drive professional growth for direct reports
- Player-Coach: Lead critical initiatives directly, especially for strategic or complex projects
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with Engineering, Business, Operations, and external partners to deliver on roadmap
- Delivery Accountability: Ensure the tribe delivers on committed roadmap with quality and predictability
Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in payments, fintech, or financial services
- 3+ years of experience managing Product Managers (not just leading projects)
- Proven track record of delivering payment products at scale
- Deep understanding of payment systems, APIs, settlement, and regulatory requirements
- Experience with multi-market expansion, preferably in Southeast Asia
- Experience with consumer or SMB products (B2C or B2B2C)
- Strong technical depth — can engage with engineering on architecture decisions
- Player-coach mindset — able to lead strategy while contributing as IC on critical initiatives
- Track record of building team processes (e.g., planning, estimation, delivery) and developing PMs through coaching and mentorship
- Proven ability to leverage user research — both conducting and synthesizing — to drive product strategy
- Data driven and strong analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience in agile methodologies
