Role Overview

An Affiliate Community Manager who owns the design, oversight, and growth of the long-tail affiliate community for both PBB [BukuAgen] and BukuPay from day 1. This is not a KOL relationship manager. This is the person who turns the pool of low-output affiliates into a graduation engine that feeds Top.

What this person owns

  • Community design: rituals, WA group dynamics, content drops, challenges, and events that pull long-tail affiliates into consistent activity

  • Upskilling: onboarding path, content training, live-streaming coaching, and templates that get affiliates from sign-up to first order faster

  • Events: online and offline, designed to create peer learning and peer pressure, not just attendance

  • Long-tail ops oversight: payments, community replies, onboarding admin, mission tracking - for both PBB and BukuPay. Interns execute the day-to-day work. This role owns the SOPs, the bar, and the outcome. Fabiola and Syifa keep ops for Top KOLs.

  • Team leverage: delegate ops to analysts with clear workflows, coach them weekly, and raise the bar of what interns can ship

  • Champion pipeline: spotting long-tail affiliates who are about to graduate and accelerating them into Top

  • Cross-product playbook: what transfers from PBB to BukuPay, where the two must diverge, and why

Who we want

Must have:

  • 4 to 6 years total experience in community, creator ops, affiliate programs, or grassroots user building

  • Has worked with creators, affiliates, sellers, drivers, or merchants. Pure SaaS B2B community managers will struggle here.

  • Has managed at least 1-2 junior teammates or interns before and can describe how they set the bar without doing the work themselves

  • Indonesian native, comfortable spending time in tier 2 and tier 3 cities where affiliates live

  • Can show specific numbers from past programs: creators graduated, productivity lifts, activation rates

  • Can design SOPs and workflows that interns can run without constant supervision, and still own the outcome when things break

  • Can write a 1-page plan and defend it in person without a deck

Strong plus:

  • Worked at Shopee Live, TikTok Shop, Evermos, Super, Sociabuzz, Tada, or similar creator/affiliate programs

  • Has run a WA community of 500+ with rituals that compound, not noise

  • Comfortable with cohort analysis, dashboards, and basic data thinking [LTV, retention curves, graduation rates]

Will not work here:

  • Pure event organizers who confuse attendance with impact

  • KOL account managers who only know 1:1 top-tier relationships

  • Anyone who defines community success by member count or engagement rate

  • People who do intern work themselves instead of building leverage through the team

  • Candidates who cannot name one affiliate, by name, they personally helped graduate
