Red Hat Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Red Hat Engineer with 3 – 5 years of experience in Linux system administration, container platforms, and enterprise infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), automation tools, and container orchestration using Red Hat OpenShift.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) servers.
• Manage patching, upgrades, system hardening, and performance tuning.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads on Red Hat OpenShift.
• Support containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Implement automation using Ansible and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Nagios or Grafana.
• Support cloud and hybrid environments across major cloud platforms.
• Manage virtualization platforms and support on-prem to cloud migrations.
• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and documentation standards.

Required Skills

• 3 – 5 years of hands-on Linux administration experience.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience managing Red Hat OpenShift environments.
• Knowledge of automation, scripting (Bash/YAML), and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization concepts.
• Experience supporting development, testing, and production environments.

Preferred Certifications

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
