Role Overview

Seeking a Techno-Functional Consultant to support and enhance enterprise systems within a large manufacturing environment using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (including Supply Chain Management).
The role involves engaging business leaders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics; translating business requirements into scalable solutions; educating non-technical stakeholders; and overseeing configurations, integrations, and process optimization in collaboration with the IT Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements via workshops and map As-Is/To-Be processes across Operations, Production, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics.
  • Configure and optimize Dynamics 365 modules:
    • Finance
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Inventory & Warehouse Management
    • Production Control
    • Procurement & Sourcing
  • Govern master data (Items, BOMs, Routes, Vendors, Customers).
  • Improve production planning, MRP, shop floor processes, and workflow-based automation.
  • Coordinate with developers on X++ customizations, extensions, enhancements, and data migration.
  • Support integrations via REST APIs, OData, Azure services between Dynamics 365 and MES, WMS, CRM, or third-party systems.
  • Enable reporting and analytics through Power BI dashboards.
  • Act as liaison between business users, technical teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Translate technical constraints into business terms and support IT Director in technology evaluations, solution design, and architecture reviews.
  • Lead UAT cycles; develop BRD/FRD and process documentation.
  • Support change management, user training, and ensure IT governance/security compliance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 – 5 years hands-on Dynamics 365 experience (Finance & Supply Chain modules).
  • Manufacturing/Industrial sector experience.
  • Understanding of ERP architecture; BOM, routing, production planning, MRP; inventory & warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of SQL, data migration/validation, business process mapping.
  • Basic X++ concepts; API/middleware integrations.
  • Power BI reporting; Azure exposure preferred.
  • Experience in cross-functional enterprise environments.

Preferred

Microsoft certifications (MB-300, MB-310, MB-330), Saudi manufacturing experience, end-to-end ERP implementation exposure, Arabic proficiency.
