Sage ERP Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and maintain Sage X3 ERP solutions, particularly financial and distribution modules.
• Work closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Customize reports, dashboards, and workflows within Sage X3 to meet specific business needs.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and end-user training on Sage X3 functionalities.
• Assist in data migration, system upgrades, testing, and validation during ERP implementation and rollouts.
• Document system configurations, processes, and changes according to internal standards.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors or Sage support teams for issue resolution or system enhancements.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across ERP modules.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and ERP best practices to enhance system utilization.

Requirements:

• Education: CA Inter or Masters degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Sage X3 ERP.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and ERP finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.).
• Proficiency in Sage X3 workflows, reporting tools, and system architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in ERP implementation life cycle including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.
• Familiarity with integrations between Sage X3 and third-party applications (e.g., payroll, CRM, etc.).
