Senior Software Engineer
Job Description:
Our client is a global institutional asset management firm with offices in US, Europe and Asia. As the company is expanding, they are looking to fill a newly created Senior Software Engineer (.Net / C#) position.
Incumbent will join a brand new development team based in Singapore, working collaboratively with the CTO in defining the development process to support the growth of this team.
Responsibilities
• Partner with end users in the front and middle office to develop applications that improve efficiency.
• Build data visualization and analytic tools on web and mobile technologies.
• Explore and implement alternative low code and no code platforms to deliver solutions quickly where appropriate.
• Collaborate with the global team to ensure technical alignment and inter-operation of applications.
Qualifications
• 8+years of experience in building software using agile methodologies with .NET and C#.
• Prior experience leading and managing a small team a plus.
• Software architecture experience working on small and medium size projects while keeping an overall architectural vision.
• Experience with WinForms applications, web and mobile technologies.
• Experience with SQL Server (data modeling and query optimization).
• Experience working with Enterprise Reporting tools and Data Visualization tools (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, etc).
• Knowledge of hedge funds/financial terminology desired.
