As an IT Systems & Hardware Specialist, you will:
- Source, evaluate, and purchase IT hardware, software, and related equipment from approved vendors.
- Configure Windows laptops, desktops, and peripherals according to company standards before deployment.
- Ship and track equipment to employees across various locations in a timely and organized manner.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and ensure all devices are enrolled in centralized endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune).
- Proactively monitor system performance, apply updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal functionality.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security measures, including antivirus, encryption, and access controls.
- Conduct regular IT security audits and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Provide remote support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Train employees on proper device usage, troubleshooting basics, and cybersecurity best practices.
Who You Are
Were looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT procurement, configuration, and systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows device setup, configuration, and management.
- Experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) platforms, endpoint security tools, and VPN solutions.
- Familiarity with vendor management and procurement processes in the Philippines.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote-first environment.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator.
- Experience in supporting a distributed or remote-first workforce.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
