Role Description

We are seeking a highly professional and empathetic Bilingual Paralegal Receptionist to support a legal team remotely. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English and will serve as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth intake and client communication experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and route high volumes of incoming calls in spanish and english with professionalism and empathy
  • Take detailed messages and leave accurate notes for attorney/client callbacks
  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting walk ins and handling inquiries
  • Provide support during high-traffic periods and maintain a calm, composed demeanor with frustrated or emotional clients (usually during the intake process)
  • Collaborate with legal assistants and attorneys to ensure timely followups
  • Assist with admin duties such as fax assignments and scheduling meetings
  • Coordinate with colleagues to ensure coverage at the front desk
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions


Qualifications

  • Strong American accent with excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Bilingual: Spanish proficiency is required; must be based in Brazil, Colombia or anywhere in Latin America.
  • Knowledge of legal procedures, case management, and document handling is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with legal case management software is  a plus
  • Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in workers' compensation required.
  • Background in personal injury law is a plus

Compensation: $6 to $8 per hour (Negotiable DOE)

Working Hours: Eastern or Pacific Time Zone
