General Responsibilities: Responsible for driving deposit growth through the acquisition of new customers with a strong emphasis on commercial banking relationships; promoting business by providing exceptional customer service; and developing and advancing Treasury Management products and services as a content expert.

Essential Duties

  1. Proactively identify, pursue and acquire new commercial and business banking deposit relationships to expand the banks customer base.
  2. Service relationships with existing clients and ensure appropriate product offerings based on changing needs.
  3. Develop and execute targeted business development plans focused on market growth, deposit acquisition and revenue generation.
  4. Partner closely with commercial lenders to serve the deposit needs of loan customers by participating in individual and joint sales calls.
  5. Conduct in-depth financial assessments to deliver tailored banking solutions for the customers deposit and treasury product needs.
  6. Demonstrate services and products to prospects through personal meetings or as part of a coordinated, multi-product sales presentation.
  7. Maintain account records, reports, and accuracy of agreements.
  8. Maintain product knowledge, product advancement, and knowledge of competitive environment.
  9. Maintain contact with and service key clients.
  10. Promote positive client relations with follow-up and check-in calls.
  11. Visit clients and provide field technical services to clients in compliance with product agreements.
  12. Provide banking solutions to clients by cross-selling appropriate products.
  13. Identify and prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for new and existing clients.

Other Duties

  1. Comply with all applicable regulations and policies.
  2. Support bank personnel in the delivery of prompt client service.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field preferred.
  2. Five (5) or more years of related experience required.
  3. Certifications such as CTP, BTRM, CTM preferred.
  4. Intermediate experience, knowledge, and training in branch operation activities, terminology, and products and services relating to retail and commercial account customers as well as basic accounting knowledge preferred.
  5. Working knowledge and demonstrated computer skills with all Microsoft products required; knowledge of Fiserv core banking system preferred.
  6. Previous internet banking and deposit operations experience with treasury products preferred.
  7. Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills required.
  8. Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal with difficult issues required.

Job Specifications:

  1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of workday.
  2. Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. and traverse to meet clients.
  3. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, computer, and printer.
  4. Frequently communicates with customers in person, via computer, or telephone regarding details of products, services, and processes. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  5. Regularly inspects documents for details and accuracy.
