LTE Product Developer - Utility Services

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic LTE Product Developer to lead the development and lifecycle management of LTE data devices that support core utility operations. This role bridges the gap between business needs, user experience, and technical execution, ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and manage the product roadmap for LTE data devices for utility customers.

• Align product goals with corporate strategy, compliance requirements, and utility industry trends.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with 3rd party equipment manufacturers and internal teams (Operations, Customer Service, Compliance, Engineering) to gather requirements and prioritize features.

• Serve as the main liaison between business units and third-party vendors.

Project Management & Execution

• Oversee product development lifecycle from ideation to deployment and support.

• Monitor KPIs and product performance metrics.

User Experience & Adoption

• Champion user-centric design and improve the utility customer experience through technology.

• Conduct user research, testing, and feedback sessions with internal staff and external customers.

Risk & Compliance

• Ensure products comply with utility regulations (e.g., NERC CIP, FERC, EPA, state-level guidelines).

• Collaborate with cybersecurity and data privacy teams to uphold high standards of security and reliability.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in LTE product development, ideally within a regulated industry.

• Familiarity with utility operations and technologies (e.g., SCADA systems, GIS, OMS, AMI, ERP).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of LTE technology and LTE devices

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks specific to utilities.
