Estimating Engineer

Brighton Solutions is a leader in Engineering, Technical and Professional staffing solutions. Due to increased demand, we are seeking an Estimating Engineer with a background in a low variant/low tolerance environment manufacturing, aerospace or healthcare. 

This role is critical to the pre-production process. Through analyzing project specifications, developing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with our engineering and production teams on issues varying from material supply and cost, labor cost and allocation, overhead costs in order to provide comprehensive estimates for the organization. Your expertise will ensure that our bids are competitive while maintaining profitability and quality standards.

In the performance of this role, we are seeking an individual that has experience commensurate to the role. This includes:

• 5+ years related experience - manufacturing, pre-sales, process, product or quoting engineer.
  
• Experience working with CAD or similar design software and products produced through CNC machining
• Experience reading schematics/blueprints, understanding true position features and utilizing mechanical metrology tools
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred, or comparable work experience
