1.Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Diploma or certification in joinery, carpentry, or woodwork (preferred).
2. Technical Skills
In-depth knowledge of joinery materials (wood, veneers, laminates, MDF, MFC, etc.).
Expertise in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) for creating and reviewing technical drawings.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and techniques in joinery production.
Familiarity with quality control standards for woodwork and joinery.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
3. Experience Requirements
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in joinery, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale joinery projects.
Experience working with high-end fit-out or bespoke joinery projects is an advantage.
4. Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of designers, engineers staff.
Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants to understand project requirements and resolve technical issues.
Prepare and review shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
Evaluate and approve material submittals, prototypes, and samples.
5. Supervisory and Soft Skills
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for client and consultant interactions.
Problem-solving skills to address technical and operational challenges.
Time management and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail for reviewing technical drawings and ensuring quality control.
6. Certifications (Preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar.
7. Additional Requirements
Flexibility to visit project sites as needed.
Strong network within the joinery and interior fit-out industry (preferred).
