About the job Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance team and ensure they operate on assigned schedules
- Regularly inspect relative company assets and ensure maintenance work is done as per
standards.
- Receive maintenance requests on company products and assess the work required while
assigning the relative team to conduct the maintenance work.
- Assign the work to the maintenance staff and providing them with the required directives,
guidance and support.
- Resolve problems, technical or with other departments, facing the team in conducting their work
assigned to them.
- Monitor any work undertaken by the maintenance technicians to ensure that it is to the required
standards.
- Carry out routine inspections to ensure that all working environment and equipment are
maintained in adequate conditions.
- Maintain all necessary records to ensure that the related facilities are well maintained.
- Maintain Installation and maintenance track records are kept updated at all times.
- Prepare the invoices for all maintenance work done.
- Ensuring that the maintenance parts are ordered and available at all times.
- Keep records of all spare parts and make sure they tally with the stock keepers.
- Send back replaced parts to the stock keepers to be listed in their records.
- Coordinate closely with the warehouse manager.
- Responsible to double check the stock of parts on timely basis (as specified by management)
- Send update reports to the direct manager and relative sales personnel about the work done.
- Responsible for issuing the variance reports and submit to all involved departments.
- Ensure timely maintenance of vehicles maintenance as per schedule
- Maintain updated insurance of all vehicles
- Ensure the implementation of the security and safety standards of all the facilities
- Conduct training for the employees on safety and security standards
- Follow up o the accidents and insurance claims.
- Coordinate with and manage the relations with maintenance third party companies & suppliers
Decision Making Authority
Limited decision making relative to maintaining the budget of replacing faulty parts within limits.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience
Education Technical degree
English Language
Experience 7 years experience in similar field

Salary Average
