Position Title: Manager Financial Analyst

Job Purpose
The Manager Financial Analyst is tasked with generating accurate financial reports, examining data trends, and offering insights that support informed strategic decisions. The role includes financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, while ensuring adherence to governmental financial regulations and enhancing cost efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Develop timely and precise financial reports such as monthly and quarterly statements (including MIS, consolidated reports, and variance analysis).
- Contribute to the preparation of dashboards and presentations for leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct financial data analysis when required.
- Aid in budget development, forecasting, and tracking of financial variances to promote financial health and operational efficiency.
Strategic Decision Support
- Execute financial feasibility assessments to back tourism partnerships, investment opportunities, and infrastructure development efforts.
- Carry out cost-benefit evaluations of marketing campaigns, operational costs, and tourism-related projects to maintain financial viability.
- Collaborate with the Strategy department to assess revenue patterns, booking behavior, seasonal trends, and occupancy rates for use in forecasting and budget planning.
- Examine expenditure data, including procurement and promotional costs, and share key findings with internal stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Highlight potential savings and areas for operational enhancement.
- Ensure all financial operations are in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist in rolling out improvements to financial processes to boost reporting quality and increase transparency.
Communication & Working Relationships
- Internal: Work closely with all departments to deliver financial reports and conduct cost-benefit assessments that support business initiatives.
- External: Coordinate with external auditors to validate financial data, respond to audit findings, and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education
- A bachelors degree in finance or accounting is required.
- A masters degree or certifications such as CFA or CPA are considered assets.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in financial analysis and reporting.
- Solid understanding of revenue management and financial modeling.
- Preferably has experience in the tourism sector, with familiarity in financial aspects of hotels, travel agencies, tour operators, and airlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Proficient in ERP systems (especially Oracle) and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is advantageous.
Other Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Comfortable using the full Microsoft Office Suite and other financial software.
