Position Overview: As the Maintenance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations within our company. You will act as a contractor, employing your managerial skills to ensure that maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and preventative measures are meticulously followed to maintain our facilities and uphold our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to address repair, renovation, and preventative maintenance needs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all maintenance-related matters, liaising with internal stakeholders and external contractors to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance requirements, safety hazards, and cleanliness standards, taking appropriate action to address any deficiencies.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
- Oversee the procurement of maintenance supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities, expenses, inventory levels, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to maintenance operations, incorporating relevant changes into departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a maintenance management role, preferably within the furniture or manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve common goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of maintenance principles, safety regulations, and cleanliness standards, with a commitment to upholding best practices.
