Summary of the job:
The marketing manager is responsible for the reputation, growth, and success of the organization. He/She develops marketing and pricing strategies, generates new business leads, and oversees marketing department staff. He/She also manages marketing budgets and analyzes trends.
Responsibilities and Obligations:
Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
Leading and ensuring the success of all event preparations and executions, such as trade shows, conferences, and festivals.
Managing relationships with vendors, organizers, and attendees.
Developing and implementing lead generation campaigns.
Designing marketing and promotional materials for events.
Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors
Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
Working with the Assistant General Manager to set the marketing strategy for the business.
Researching and analyzing market trends and competitors.
Tracking the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting findings to the top management.
Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies.
Writing and delivering content and social media plans, Contacting food bloggers and influencers
Looking after the budget of the marketing department and making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment.
Managing the design and production of promotional materials, such as menus and brochures.
Education:
Bachelors degree from a reputable university
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of managerial experience in a similar business
Skills and languages:
Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3-5 years of Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
Fluent in English and Arabic
Computer knowledge
Strong experience in the retail industry
Strong technical mastery in training, coaching and energizing people.
Leadership
Capable to handle multi-tasks and priorities, and use resources effectively.
Capable to work across the organization and externally by building productive working relationships.
Highly organized and able to work in a busy retail environment.
