About the job Shopper Trade Marketing & Assets Creation (Arabic Speaker)
The Shopper Trade Marketer is responsible for developing and executing the category
development plans and shopper activation initiatives, based on the Company brand and
shopper/trade marketing strategy. The Shopper Trade Marketer will provide business insights
and identify business opportunities through analysis and research at market, channel, customer
and shopper level.
Tasks and responsibilities
The Shopper Trade Marketer will deploy the channel vision and category management approach
into the key markets in close cooperation with the sales team, local Company distribution
partners and other internal stakeholders:
Identify Omnichannel business opportunities through analysis of market, channel,
customer, and shopper data.
Development of Channel & Category Management Plan - approach per country (focus on
tier 2 countries)
Drive Category Management projects at key MEA retail customers (focus on tier 2
countries) together with local distributor
Shopper journey: Improve shopper experience across all touchpoints.
Develop and monitor Point of Purchase Marketing (on- and offline)
Develop and monitor Shopper Activation Campaigns for all touchpoints to optimize
conversion rates.
Liaise with suppliers on sourcing, timelines, POS requirements, and supplier reviews to
ensure that activations are effective and on schedule. You will need to build strong
working relationships with suppliers.
Develop and maintain the Brand on the shop floor plan ("shop-in-shop"
approach);
Create channel specific planograms and optimize assortment.
Co-develop & monitor yearly distributor plans, including key product launch monitor
(online and offline)
Execute regional/local retailer & activation programs (e.g., Promo calendar, Instore
events, trade shows), including promotion plan
Develop effective shopper marketing plans, including in store and online assets, for key
retailers. For each activation,
Need to evaluate the performance and any insights of key learnings will be added into the
planning cycles for continuous improvement.
Profile
What you bring to the table
Degree minimum: University in Economics, Marketing or Commercial related field
Experience level: mid-level seniority, 5+ years
Clear business communication in English
Excellent data and analytics skills
Skill Set
Working in complex, international environments with remote teams on multiple locations
across different time zones
A hands-on, team player who can deal with a lot of freedom and give the team space to
create innovative frameworks so that results are achieved
