Network Engineer

Requirements:

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data networking, particularly experience with IP networks is desired

CCNP certificate is recommended

Good customer service skills are necessary component of the job.

Bachelor engineering degree in Network & Telecommunication / Master of Science / Master of Engineering

Candidate must be available to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

Maintain and expand the ISP network topology

Learning about network protocols and technologies used in ISP environments, such as BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) and MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching).

Update and create procedures for NOC, Network and IT department

Handling NOC escalated issues.

Secure the network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.

May work with other network operations groups to accomplish customer migrations, network changes, upgrades and repairs.

Assisting in the implementation of network security measures, such as access control lists and firewall rules.

Documenting network configurations and procedures to maintain accurate records of network infrastructure.

Linux system installation

Troubleshooting network problems and outages;

Preparing and scheduling upgrades with NOC team.

Collaborating with network architects on network optimization.

Configure and maintains Hotspot solution

Configure and maintains Firewalls

Configure and maintains DNS system

Configure and maintains PRTG tool or other monitoring system

Troubleshoot and restore systems after crashes.

Manage system back up.

Lebanese willing to relocate to Juba or currently in Juba
