About the job Agriculture Engineer

Check-in all sales and service personnel daily. Review paperwork from previous day and current day activities.

Ø Conduct service meetings on a daily basis. Recruit, hire, train and develop qualified technicians.

Ø Ensure employees have all the tools necessary to perform their jobs satisfactorily (vehicle, equipment, etc.).

Ø Ensure necessary materials are in stock for production and distribute accordingly.

Ø Plan, assign and direct work. Hold employees accountable to their jobs and ensure customer satisfaction. Address complaints and resolve problems.

Ø Talk with customers and co-workers by phone or in person concerning sales, service, collections, complaints, etc.

Ø Achieve high quality of services based on collection feedback and minimum calls back

Ø Create a culture of building relationships, follow-up, referrals.

Ø Perform essential job functions of other positions as necessary (must be familiar with all job descriptions for your particular branch).

Ø Mastering Truly Nolen software and other software in order to transfer the business into digital. (E-service tickets, reporting, TEPS, Sales supervisor, etc

Ø Develop the operation by acquiring new brands either direct or indirect such as Pesticides, machines

Ø Conduct training sessions to the team and to the clients.

Ø Work Monday through Saturday and be available 24/7 for emergency calls.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Acquire new customers through creative lead development, referrals and telephone leads.

Approve and/or monitor accounts payable, requests for time off (track attendance), accounts receivable, etc.

Generate, print and review reports daily and submit in a timely fashion. Complete all necessary paperwork for corporate purposes (i.e. human resources, payroll, loss control, etc.) and submit in a timely fashion. Respond to requests from district manager, corporate personnel, vice presidents, president and Truly in a timely fashion.

Attend training classes and attend meetings as required.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Typing

- Computer literate

- Basic math and measurement aptitude

DESIRED SKILLS:

- Pest industry knowledge

- Management experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Leadership ability

- Financially responsible - Read, write, and speak English

- Organizational

- Perform minor equipment repair- Good track record

(in either pest industry or management)

- Walking, sitting, standing, bending, crawling, squatting, kneeling, stepping, climbing, reaching, twisting, turning, grasping, squeezing, pushing, pulling, stretching, balancing. Lift, hold and/or move up to 50 pounds. - Wear personal protective equipment such as a respirator, dust mask, goggles, gloves, etc. - Entrance into tight spaces (attics and sub-crawl spaces).
