Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Audit Preparation: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and analyze expenditures and provide variance reports.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and forecast future financial needs.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Prepare special financial reports as requested by management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of [X] years of accounting experience.
