Job Overview

Our client is seeking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to manage CNC programming and machine operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, preparing cutting programs, operating CNC machinery, and ensuring accurate, high-quality production.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AlphaCAM and ArtCAM, strong technical drawing interpretation skills, and practical experience in cabinetry, furniture manufacturing, interior fit-outs or a related production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and create CNC cutting programs using AlphaCAM and ArtCAM.

• Interpret technical drawings, designs, and production specifications.

• Convert designs into accurate, machine-ready CNC programs.

• Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.

• Monitor cutting processes and ensure accuracy and quality of finished products.

• Optimize material usage and minimize production wastage.

• Conduct routine machine checks and report maintenance requirements.

• Work closely with design and production teams to meet project timelines.

• Maintain accurate production and machine operation records.

• Follow all company safety procedures and production standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience operating CNC machines.

• Proficiency in AlphaCAM and ArtCAM.

• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and translate designs into CNC programs.

• Practical understanding of CNC programming, cutting, and machine operation.

• Experience in cabinetry, furniture manufacturing, interior fit-outs, or related production environments is an added advantage.

• Good understanding of production processes and material optimization.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
