Remote Infrastructure Engineer

Position Overview:

To expand our team, we are looking for a talented and driven Remote Infrastructure Engineer. Strong experience in network administration, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure is required for the perfect applicant. Key Responsibilities:

Create, put into practice, and oversee safe, scalable IT infrastructure solutions.

Keep an eye on and uphold network performance to guarantee excellent availability and dependability.

Investigate and quickly fix problems with the infrastructure.

Work together to enable processes for continuous integration and deployment with the development and operations teams.

Oversee cloud services and maximize cloud infrastructure's efficiency, security, and affordability.

Adopt and uphold security protocols to safeguard our data and systems.

Carry out routine maintenance, backups, and system updates.

Record the processes, methods, and configurations of the infrastructure.

Keep abreast on best practices, new developments in technology, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar discipline.

a track record of success in infrastructure engineering or related fields.

strong implementation, design, and management skills in networks and infrastructure.

proficiency using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud as examples of cloud platforms.

familiarity with virtualization technologies (such as Hyper-V and VMware).

acquaintance with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).

strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in troubleshooting intricate problems.

exceptional communication skills both in writing and speaking.

capacity to oversee several projects at once and operate autonomously.

Has to be an American citizen or resident.
